The Hyrule edition of the Nintendo Switch Lite comes in a sparkly gold reminiscent of the original The Legend of Zelda NES cartridge and it has a Triforce insignia on the back of the console.
The Nintendo Switch first made its way into homes back in 2017. There are nearly eight years of games released for the console just waiting to be played. The miraculous The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild wowed a generation of players on release date, then Nintendo managed to do it again with its follow-up The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. We’ve gotten Mario’s return to 3D platforming with Super Mario Odyssey. Animal Crossing: New Horizons became a must-own social cozy game for players of all ages.

Celeste is a wonderful retro-inspired platformer with tough-as-nails levels and an inspiring message. Hades is an action roguelike where you play the son of the titular Hades attempting to escape the confines of the underworld. Animal Well is a search action game with a labyrinth of mysteries waiting to be solved.

The special edition Nintendo Switch Lite also includes a 12-month subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Individual Membership. That’s a $60 value included with your purchase. The Nintendo Switch Online membership grants you the ability to play multiplayer games like Mario Kart 8: Deluxe with friends or other players. You’ll also be able to save your data to the cloud and access a catalogue of original NES games to play whenever you want.
With the Expansion Pack membership that also comes included, you’ll gain access to even more retro catalogues including the SEGA Mega Drive, the Nintendo 64, and the GameBoy Advance. You’ll also gain access to a number of DLC expansions for first-party titles such as Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
